Eight personalities. Six kids. Two slightly chaotic parents. And a whole lot of adventures.

Hey! I’m Rhi, the voice behind Bowden8!

Together with my husband Chris and our six kids, Riley, Mason, Oliver, Amelia, Zachary and Angus, we’re an Australian family of eight who love exploring the world, making memories, and occasionally questioning our own sanity along the way.

I’ve always had a passion for travel. As a former travel agent, I’ve spent years exploring destinations, planning holidays and dreaming up our next big adventure. Add six kids into the mix, and let’s say travelling looks a little different these days!

But that’s exactly why Bowden8 was born.

We wanted somewhere to share our adventures, the places we’ve explored, the lessons we’ve learnt and all the ridiculous moments that happen in between.

And believe me, there are plenty.

From international adventures and epic road trips to camping disasters, parenting chaos and everything in between, we’re bringing you along for the ride.

Because travelling with six kids isn’t always glamorous. Sometimes it’s magical, sometimes it’s absolute mayhem, and occasionally it involves wondering why on earth we thought three weeks in a tent was a good idea.

We’re not here to pretend we’ve got it all figured out.

We’re here to share honest experiences, practical travel tips, plenty of laughs and hopefully inspire other families to get out there and explore, no matter how big or small their adventures might be.
